If you are a frequent reader of our articles, you might have realized by now that on this site we take a more in-depth approach to talking about the Bible, most importantly, we strive to show the practical application of the word of God to our daily lives.
I want to start this article by describing the 2 main ways that one person in a family can drop the ball for all upcoming generations by opening doors to evil to enter the blood line:
- Personal decision one makes that opens the door on their blood lines that enslaves the upcoming generations to all types of sins
- Who are you entering contracts with? Wrong partnerships by entering covenants and agreement with forces of darkness which always by default requires one to covenant future bloodline generations as well
Let’s get into this!
1.Personal Decisions
Family is the system God chose to increase life on this earth through a process of replenishment. The commission to procreate or multiply was given by God to not only humans but also to all non-human creatures in pairs of male and female. After creating the things that swim the path of the sea, the fowls of the heaven, the beasts in the fields, and the creepy and crawling things, God ordained all non-human creatures in Genesis to do the following:
And God blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. (Genesis 1:22, KJV)
He then created us mankind and commissioned us in a pair of male-female as he did the non-human creatures to do the same:
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth (Genesis 1:28, KJV)
The only difference between mankind and non-mankind creatures is that mankind was made in the image of God to rule over all non-mankind creatures and all things on earth except humans themselves.
And there is only one thing that links people together in a family dynamic:
For the life of the flesh is in the blood (Leviticus 17:11, ESV)
Hence, blood.
And Science did confirm that our DNA is in the blood, and the role of DNA according to the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) was summarized as followed:
DNA contains the instructions needed for an organism to develop, survive, and reproduce. To carry out these functions, DNA sequences must be converted into messages that can be used to produce proteins, which are the complex molecules that do most of the work in our bodies. I hope you can now see how powerful the bloodline you are from is. It literally determines pretty much who you are, what you look like, the way you fundamentally behave by default, and hence predicts what your future will look like unless Jesus Christ intervenes to change it. The DNA explains why although family members might be unique individuals with different personalities, they still fundamentally have several traits can be traced back to parents, grandparents, great-grandparents and so forth. Those traits in and of themselves determines the quality of their lives and future unless they are somehow altered at the DNA level.
Let us ponder this for a second: we know that we have a sin problem by nature upon birth. King David did touched on this topic in Psalm 51:5 (Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me, NIV). However, yes babies are innocent and know extraordinarily little. Some wicked people in the Bible are said to be evil from the womb of their mothers as Psalm 58:3 expanded on (Even from birth the wicked go astray; from the womb they are wayward, spreading lies , NIV). That is why Jesus said that before we can even think about entering heaven, we need to go through the process of being “born again” (John 3:1-21). If a baby is born with the inclination or predisposition of sinning without even having lived on earth, this means that sin is perfectly transferrable from one man to another, somehow. This is how the Bible illustrates that point:
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned -(Romans 5:12)
2.Who Are You Entering into Contract or Partnership With?
This is referring to spiritual contacts and partnerships not the physical business contracts with other fellow humans.
Did you realize that the story of Jesus Christ did not start in the book of Matthew, the first book of the New Testament? We know that Jesus Christ was at the beginning, at the foundation of the earth:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. (John 1: 1 – 2, KJV)
Later down the same chapter of John 1, Jesus came down to live among us:
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth (John 1:14, KJV)
Our favorite equation is then:
To support the argument that the story of Jesus did not start in the book of Matthew, pay careful attention how the book of Mathew started. When we read the first chapter of Matthew, the narrative begins with the genealogy of Jesus Christ starting with Abraham. Why? Again, because blood lines are particularly important in ALL things. By all things I mean the things of the spirit and the physical. The God of the Bible was repeatedly, especially in the Old testament, referred to as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel (Jacob). Abraham was the first human in the Bible that the God of Heaven, the GREAT I AM reached down to form a lasting covenant with that will give birth to a hole nation that God constantly refers to in the Bible as “My people”:
Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: and I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12: 2 – 3, KJV)
After God asked Abraham to take his only begotten son Isaac and to go and sacrifice him on Mount Moriah and Abraham obeyed God’s voice though God stopped the actual sacrifice before it actual occurred, God then further confirmed his “covenant” with Abraham by saying:
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son: that in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. (Genesis 22, 15 – 18, KJV)
Abraham sacrifice was a pre-enactment of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ thousands of years later. Over decades and centuries after God covenanted with Abraham and after he passed, God continued to reveal himself again and again to his descendants while reminding them that that the covenant started with one man in their blood lineage called the Abrahamic Covenant. In Genesis 26:2-5, God appeared to Isaac after Abraham’s death and introduced himself as the God with whom his father Abraham covenanted with, a covenant which he will still be carrying with him Isaac towards the fulfillment of the original Abrahamic covenant.
Furthermore, after the death of Isaac, God appeared to Jacob Isaac’s son in a dream in Genesis 28:12- 16 and re-introduced himself as the “God of Abraham thy father”. Not the God of Isaac the actual father of Jacob. He went back to the original covenanter. For thousands of years to come God has been in touch with the people of Israel either through the priest, prophets, or men that he selected at time to lead his people. That shows the power of blood as God covenanted with only 1 man in the beginning Abraham, and all the descendants of his bloodline were subsequently in covenant with
the GREAT I AM, whether they chose it or not. And God’s intentions from the beginning through the Abrahamic covenant was to bless Abraham and all his descendants. Reading Deuteronomy 28 will give you an insight of the wonderful blessings that God intended to bring upon his people, the people of Israel aside from bringing Jesus Christ the savior of the world through them.
After the children of Abraham grew in numbers decades later in Egypt and were set free from the bondage the Egyptians had them under, God further made known to them the stipulations the covenant he made with Abraham which required them to do their part via obedience. Disobedience hence is the act that breaks the terms of the covenant and has consequences just as anything contracts, we engage in on earth.
but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments (Exodus 20:6, NIV)
God is spirit and we know that there are several other spirits other than the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. Their intentions of course towards mankind is not to bless us but to do the exact opposite which is to strip us of God’s blessings by getting us cursed. However the same way many Christians have chosen to enter into a covenants with the God of Israel, there are many others especially ancestors who also establish covenants with other spiritual beings that is not the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. And given that covenants always run into the bloodline in the sense that once 1 person in a family enters covenant with a spiritual entity, the rest of the lineage is automatically covenanted in, imagine a blood covenant with a demon or entity of darkness. Of course, satan being the father of all lies has an enormously powerful marketing campaign that promotes his services in a very hip and alluring way:
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)
One main way satan gets people to enter into agreement with them is for power. There actually 3 main services satan offers to pull in man to willful enter into agreement with him. He offered those things to Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ declined all 3 in Matthew 4: 3 – 11:
3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, if thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. (Food, Living)
5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, and saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Pride, Arrogance towards God)
8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. (Fame, Riches, Power)
Nothing has changed. We human sell our souls today for the same things satan tempted Jesus with power, money, pride, faith, riches, etc. And ALL men are susceptible to fall for these temptations. Only God himself can preserve you and give you the grace to overcome. Many ancestors in several regions of Africa and Asia have covenanted with demons for rain and good harvest in their land, strength to win wars on their territories, power, riches and so forth via witchcraft. They however neither fully understood the full ramification of the agreement of they are entering into nor the nature of the spirit “helping them”.
And many of their descendants around the world are now bound in all types of demonic covenants whereas many have visitations of demons just like the GREAT I AM visited the descendants in the blood lineage of “his people”.
And it is quite unfortunate to see witchcraft creep into western societies mainly via entertainment such as shows, movies, songs, etc. including tools such Ouija boards and so forth. We have a generation in Western societies that are covenanting themselves and their children by opening doors to their blood lineage to witchcraft movies in which incantations are being recited over them as well as songs or by them joining demonic groups or sects. Who would believe that for the purposes of entertainment, high schoolers and younger kids nowadays are gathering in our societies to conjure up demons? All in the name of loving to be spooked and “having fun”.
Did not Jesus Christ instruct us as followed:
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8, KJV)
The first instruction of the end times that Jesus gave his apostle was:
And Jesus answered and said unto them, take heed that no man deceive you. (Matthew 24:4, KJV)
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. (2 Timothy 3:1-5, NIV)
