What Are Demons and Where Do They Originate From? This article will attempt to answer this question
First – Creation
This is a quick background in demonology for those who have very little to no knowledge regarding the topic. In case you are however already well versed in this topic, you might want to go straight to PART II of this article which dives more in to demons and entities of the kingdom of darkness.
The Bible was the first book to reveal to us mankind how much our maker, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob – Elohim, loves us. Some books and religions teach us that we can ourselves become God or achieve a god status. Others believe that the “God of the Universe” due to his mightiness and greatness by nature which can be seen in his creation, is far out of the reach of mankind as far as establishing a meaningful relationship with him goes. The Bible however reveals lots of truths about our creator that when carefully meditated on, will come to make sense and even become logical to you. The Bible is the ONLY book that can accurately tells us:
1. Who made all things in a way that can be explained and understood: For example, we were intentionally made. We neither just “happened” nor evolved but were created as one kind or type of creatures on this earth called mankind. When you carefully observe the world, we live in, you can see that there are many other “kind” of creatures that were made. Within each kind, there are different species. Like men and women under the man “kind” creation type for example. And only one kind of creation was created according to the Bible in the image of the living God Yahweh, that is us mankind who were assigned to rule over and manage all the other kind of creation on earth. This rather than the theory of evolution explains why mankind is so different from the other kind of creation especially with the powerful brain mankind possess.
This also opposes and dispels the Big Bang Theory. However even one using mere logic should be able to effectively refute the Big Bang Theory of evolution: since when did you experience or observe an explosion (even on TV) and notice order rather than utter destruction or chaos come out of that explosion? There are religions/cults that exist and that are based on this theory. I truly want to use very common example here to dispel this theory: why does the military use nuclear bombs and grenades to create explosions during war against the enemy? For the purposes of bringing destruction to their camps, not order as observed in creation because Yahweh who made all things is a God of order or peace rather than confusion or chaos (For God is not a God of disorder but of peace, as in all the meetings of God’s holy people – 1 Corinthians 14:33). This is the order we observe in all things in creation : (we eat, digest the food , then the food is disposed out of the rectum which is the original purpose of the rectum), (the sun comes out but at night, the sun lives to give way to the moon), ( a man and a woman couples, then the woman gets pregnant, and after about 9 months or so unless there are complications, a baby is born). There is order in all creation and phenomena in creation which why scientist can study the order of those processes is discover and report on how thing work. Without order there can never be science as chaos can never be observed to draw patterns and conclusions from.
Consequently why would one believe that this beautiful earth we live on, the order of the seasons, the scheduled appearance of the sun and the moon that alternates between day and night, the complexity of human beings, of our mind, and bodies, in addition to the complexity of other creations on earth and how they were genetically pre-disposed to live a certain manner all just happened or evolved over time based on the theory of evolution?
2.How all things were made – to the extend God allow us to know
3.The purpose of mankind – The Bible tells us about his expectations and standards regarding each the kind of creation he made. The Bible answers the basic question: “why am I here on earth” and as you build an actual relationship with Jesus Christ, he tells you what exactly what is expected of you as a single individual as he has already written in your book of life. Each of us were created for a purpose but only your maker can reveal it to you
4.How all creation on earth were made to function dependably and inter-dependently
For it is written about creation that:
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. And God said, let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the third day. And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. (Genesis 1: 1 – 22, KJV)
In the first book of the Bible Genesis from which the passage above was extracted, one immediately understands at least at a higher level who God is, how he made mankind, and the purpose of creation especially mankind. Instead of us humans funding limitless scientific projects to discover why human beings are so different from all other creations or to understand creation and its origin, 5 mns in the first book of the Bible could have saved humankind lots of time and money.
Second – the Big Deal About Adam & Eve and Humankind
Furthermore as one proceeds with reading the book of Genesis, one learns that the first mankind creation of God: Adam was created from dust. Adam was in the garden of Eden, a place where he was in perfect communion and close relationship with God. That is until he partook in the only thing that has the power to put separation between man and God, that is sin. Under the ill advice of his wife Eve which God later made for Adam as a companion/helper and who was deceived by the old serpent/dragon, Adam as well as Eve herself ate the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge. This resulted in God chasing them out of the garden of Eden and thus started the fall of this earthly world God created and put mankind in charge of. As Adam and Eve “sinned”, which is simply the act of disobeying anything God says/commands or “doing as doing will”, They are being corrupted. That corruption manifested in the modification of their genes hence their DNA which was corrupted from the original DNA of God that mankind had in them to this sin rebellion laced DNA we all are now subsequently born with. Look at a child and how he/she behaves without any adult supervision or education, and you will see how
prevalent that inherited DNA trait of rebellion or sin truly is. On a side note, Elohim (The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel) is the Lord of all kings and the God of all gods as a result he never just asks or suggests us to do something but everything he asks anyone to do is a commandment.
Some may wonder why God left the tree of knowledge in the reach of Adam and Eve when he knew this would happen. Let’s ponder this for a second: would you want somebody to be with you because they choose you and want to love you or because you made them or coerced them in doing so? I will guess and hope that you would prefer that they do the latter rather than the former. God is free by nature and created us in his image, so the original man Adam made from dust and his wife Eve were both “made or born” free to choose to obey what God commands. This freedom to choose is why us human can worship any god we want while leaving on earth even though they are not our maker, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel. However just as we experience in real life, each choice we make come with consequences. As a result one should not be surprised that the god you choose to serve on this earth and how one lives their lives must be accounted to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel after death.
Now continuing with our background story of demons and their origin.
After Adam dropped the ball and caused separation between man and God, God already had a backup plan from the foundation of the world to redeem humankind. See, the original Adam who was in perfect relationship in Eden with God had dominion over the Earth as God gave “Humankind only” the power to rule over all things within the earthly realm. By Adam sinning and being separated from God, God already had a backup plan from the foundation of creation and that is his son Jesus Christ for it is written to redeem us mankind and restore the authority God gave us and that Adam lost:
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned – (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. Nevertheless, death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification. For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. (Romans 5: 12 – 18, NKJV)
Glory be to Jesus Christ our Lord and King, the son of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Israel!
Third – demons: their birth
How does that all this background story tie back to today’s article regarding the origin of demons? Well remember the old serpent and dragon referred to earlier in the book of Genesis? Let’s just say that “he” as in the dragon or old serpent was the “genesis” (no pun intended) of sin through pride. The old serpent who deceived Eve is called in Lucifer who was a beautiful angel in the Kingdom of Elohim which is in Heaven. Lucifer being the most beautiful Cherub got full of pride and came up with the idea to overthrow God. During his rebellion against Yahweh in the kingdom of Heaven, he convinced other angels to join us though his plan did not quite go well as he was quickly thrown out of Heaven (remember everywhere there is sin/rebellion, there must be a separation from God because he is perfect, righteous, and holy):
Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea! For the devil has come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he
hath but a short time.” (Revelation 12:12, KJV)
Once on earth, you can imagine that Lucifer seeing us mankind who were made in the image of Yahweh who made him as well but had to throw him out of heaven because of his sin and pride, will obviously not be that much of a pleased. Hence mankind became his first and sole target of hatred and destruction. Knowing how much God loves us his creation, his restless plan of destruction of mankind serves as a way for him to repay God for kicking him out of Heaven. See, many religions either completely ignore the existence of evil or know of the existence of evil spirits but cannot concretely tell you who they are as separate entities and how they antagonize humans except for Christianity (followers of Jesus Christ). The Bible from the onset warned us clearly that there are 2 opposite kingdoms: that of darkness and light. The bible also explicitly warned us about who mankind’s enemy is, how they work, how they carry out their agenda, and what their ultimate end goals are.
Lucifer whose name because satan after the fall built his own kingdom of darkness and proceeded to corrupt the actual DNA of mankind further by sleeping with them and creating giants, the Nephilim which really angered God who proceed to wipe them off the earth with Noah’s flood:
Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. (Genesis 6: 1-8, NKJV)
The hatred of satan for mankind who is in the image of God is the catalyst for him entering the serpent and causing Eve to disobey God by eating the forbidden fruits of knowledge. His ultimate goal was and still is to corrupt our original DNA by angering God by causing us to not only do that which he asked us not to do via sinning, but also to distort our image including our character by polluting our DNA. The agenda to corrupt humankind DNA back in the days after him and his co-conspirators (the fallen angels) were thrown out of heaven was to corrupt human’s DNA by having sexual relations with the women. Hence not only polluting the women’s DNA but their procreations/children. Those children of course that were not bon of human breeding gave birth to monsters, effectively not in the human of God, that were called the Nephilim or giants. God being not pleased with the giants quickly sent waters to cleanse the earth which is recorded in history as Noah’s flood. The flood effectively wiped off the majority of the Nephilim.
Those half-humans or hybrid creatures had some very interesting way of living and ability. In the garden of Eden, before God mentioned that it was not good for man to be alone (Genesis 2:18) and created Eve as a companion for Adam, Adam was busy naming the other kinds of creature God created, namely animals. By the time we get to the book of Leviticus and Deuteronomy however, mankind got into very strange practices far from the ones Adam was involved in in Eden. God then had to give the people of Israel who he chose to make his own people clear warnings that they needed to do away with the way of life mankind came to learn overtime. He then gave them laws to help them see how far they have come from him and what he stands for, and to start the process of unlearning those practices. Of course, it was later in Jesus Christ that this goal was perfected:
“When you enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there. For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling, or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. (Deuteronomy 18:9 – 11, NLT)
Part of the laws God gave to Moses for the people of Israel openly criticized many practices that were predominant on the earth at that time and that are still prevalent in society. This includes for example:
“A man must not defile himself by having sex with an animal. And a woman must not offer herself to a male animal to have intercourse with it. This is a perverse act (Leviticus 18:23, NLT)
Again, mankind went from naming animal in the garden of Eden in Genesis to sleeping with them in Genesis. Who taught them those abominable ways or who is impressing on them to commit those abominable acts that we originally did not commit in Eden? I believe the fallen angels and their offspring.
Many Jewish theologians believe that the term “evil spirits” emerged after the flood that God used to wipe off the detestable giants which were offspring between man and fallen angels. Mixture between different creation kinds in the Bible was and still is forbidden. Mankind cannot mix with the kinds that swim the path of the seas or the kinds that are beasts in the fields for example. Consequently, a Nephilim or giant for example is already an abomination to God. Worst yet they were partially created with mankind’s DNA and mankind at the root who are spirit men living on earth in a bodily suit. As a result, because the Nephilim (giants) were partially birthed by mankind’s DNA, they inherited some of mankind traits such as having a spirit. Hence after the flood, just like as after death our spirit will live on for eternity either in hell or heaven, after God wiped the giants from the earth with the flood, their spirits in the spirit world are very well alive even today. Why? Spirits do not die. This sums up the history of the birth of “demons” who are now spirits until today.
I then believe that the kingdom of darkness is spearheaded by the fallen angels with satan as their leader then other beings such as the demons they birthed with mankind females.
I also firmly believe that while the Nephilim were living still living on earth they committed many of the practices God call “detestable” such sleeping with animals etc. and interbreeding with different kinds of God’s creation. Which of course God forbad. And after they were dead and became spirit beings only, they started to oppress humans in an attempt to either gain a bodily suit to live on earth through demonic procession, or to live their wicked and detestable ways vicariously through mankind through demonic oppression. Other than cross breeding through sex, I believe those entities back in the days were involved in “Scientific” methodologies just like we do nowadays to advance their humankind DNA pollution agenda by crossbreeding different kind of species. Many other researchers have now arrived to the conclusion that science is nothing new and that our belief that we have evolved and progress is nothing but an illusion. Ancient civilization who built the pyramids for example are now believed to be more far advanced that we now are. And this is Biblical as it is written that: what has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1:9)
The “mythical” creature that we see in our history books are then not “myths” but rather real creatures that exist as a result of cross breeding of different creatures with humankind: mermaid (half fish and human), centaur (half horse and human), werewolf (man and wolf), manticore (half lion and human) for example.
Many Christians researchers now believe that the other hidden agenda of fallen angels is to completely get rid of mankind by replacing them by their own creatures that they are creating using the original mankind creature that God made. If you read the Genesis passage mentioned earlier, the Nephilim/giants were known as beings with supernatural strengths. Hence, more powerful than humans. I hope you get the whole picture where satan is heading with this agenda.
Consequently, when many Christians experience phenomena such as having sex in dreams with weird creatures and actually experiencing orgasm in real life from those sexual dream encounters, one should neither be surprised nor take it lightly. The Nephilim are still around, their spirits are still alive in the spirit realms doing what they were doing before God wiped the majority of them with the flood of Noah.
Many have seen the demons that are mermaids (yes, they do exist. Guess who is influencing humans to make cartoon and movies about them from the spirit realm). Want to take a wild guess? Many have also seen demons that have multiple sexes of both man and woman at once, or that are half human and dogs and other creatures. Many more Christians who have dealt with demonic oppression has seen half human and half crocodile/alligator and all other unimaginable creatures that would boggle one’s mind.
However, there are things you need to know about demons and the kingdom of darkness. Now we are moving to the “spiritual” side of things. Remember that the Nephilim are now spirits for the most part but are still up to their old tricks from the spirit realm through demonic procession and oppression.
